New swimmer evaluations are held by appointment. Please email to schedule. Your swimmer will be in the water for about 5-10 min. Make sure they have appropriate swim attire and goggles. 

Swim School

Class schedule & registration - Our Swim School is for children ages 4-12. Level C is our beginner class. Level B is our intermediate class, swimmers should be able to swim 15m unassisted. Level A is our avanced class. swimmers should be able to travel 25m unassisted and are working on the nessisary skill and endurance for joining our year round team.

**THERE IS A CLASS MINIMUM OF 2 SWIMMERS.  IF THERE ARE NOT AT LEAST 2 SWIMMERS SIGNED UP FOR THE CLASS, THEN THE CLASS WILL BE CANCELED.  

Class Limits: we maintain a swimmer to instructor ratio of 4:1.

All classes meet twice a week for a total of 4 weeks, at a cost of $60/swimmer.

All Swim School lessons are held at the SIU Rec Center Pool

Registration for Fall I lessons will open at noon on August 12.

Fall I September 8-October 2

Fall II October 6-October 30 .

Fall III Novenber 3-December 11*

* During the Fall III session there will be no classes on the weeks of 11/10-13 and 11/24-27
