The
Swim School session will be extended by one week.
**IMPORTANT SWIM SCHOOL UPDATE** - Swim
school classes will resume at their normally scheduled times at the
Carbondale Life Community Center - 2500 W. Sunset Drive, Carbondale, IL. on
Monday Sept 14.
- All groups (Jedi,
Groups 1, 2, 3, &4) will practice at the Rec Center, Shea Natatorium at
normally scheduled times until further notice.
- We must follow Rec Center security regulations
and rules in order to have practice there. NO PARENTS will be allowed
through the downstairs gates (unless you have a Rec membership).
Swimmers will be allowed through the gates and are to walk directly to the
pool area. Parents who have concerns about younger swimmers walking by
themselves to the pool should have their swimmer walk with an older swimmer
or avoid practice until Pulliam is open.
- Please continue to check the website
or call 457-1103 during the week for possible schedule changes.
Note for all Group 4 swimmers who
do not have fins or who have fins they will not wear: Coach Jay's
preferred fins are Hydro Training Finz. They can be purchased online
from Keifer, Metro Swim Shop or other swim gear dealers.
**Any swimmer who wants to participate in High School
Swimming should get a physical as soon as possible.
