Saluki Swimmers Off to a Strong Start in Paducah

            Twenty-seven Saluki Swim Club swimmers competed in the Paducah Swim Fest Meet in Paducah, KY.  This was the first meet of our new season and our swimmers did a great job!  Overall Saluki swimmers achieved 44 B and 25 BB times in the meet.  They also achieved best times in 76% of their races.  Eight year old Connor Rice won the eight and under boys high point award.

            The next competition for Saluki Swim Club swimmers will compete in the Rec Plex Fall Festival in St Peters, MO October 9-10.

Saluki Swimmers Pick Up Wins at Rec Plex Fall Festival Meet

Twenty-three Saluki Swim Club swimmers competed in the Rec Plex Fall Festival Meet in St.Peters, MO.  This was the second meet of our new season and our swimmers did a great job!  Overall Saluki swimmers achieved 31 B times, 40 BB times, 20 A times, 11 AA times, & 11 AAA times in the meet.  They also achieved best times in 68% of their races.  Congratulations to Camille Davis who broke the 15-16 girls 100 back team record!  Also congratulations to Stephen Cohen and Calvin Kolar who added their names to the Saluki Top 5!

Saluki Swim Club Wins the 2010 Swim Your Own Age Meet

            Saluki Swim Club won the 2010 Swim Own Age Meet 1198 to Gator Swim Team’s 772 and Rend Lake’s 662.  Seventy – nine Saluki Swim Club swimmers competed and achieved best times in 78% of their swims.  They achieved 4 AAA, 4 AA, 11 A, 39 BB, and 58 B times.  Also a special congratulations to Camille Davis who broke the 15-16 girls’ 100 back team record, and to Kelsie Walker for achieving a Saluki top 5 time in the 13-14 girls’100 fly.  The following swimmers achieved times that qualified them for the Ozark A Championships in November:  Cody Bailey, Stephen Cohen, Camille Davis, Ryan Hall, Ashlee Kuan, Jerry Kuhnert, Caseton Luthy, Darelene Sao, Austyn Sigler, Bella Snyder, Jacob Stone and Kelsie Walker.  The following swimmer achieved times that qualify them for the Ozark Championships in Feburary:  Cody Bailey, Clair Boget, Emma Chvatal, Sara Coello, Trevor Jones, Ashlee Kuan, Haley Kuhnert, Jerry Kuhnert, Cortney McCoskey, Bella Snyder, Jacob Stone, Emily Stroud, Elizabeth Tang, Carrie Thompson, and Kelsie Walker.
