Saluki Swimmers Excel in Florida Invitational                                                                         June, 2010

            Seven Saluki Swim Club swimmers competed in the 2010 Tom Lalor Invitational June 11 through 13 in Pensacola, FL.  Fourteen year old Kelsie Walker won the high point award for the 13-14 girls.  Kelsie won the 200 IM, 100 and 200 fly, 100, 200, and 400 free, and 2^nd in the 50 free, 50 fly, and 400 IM.  Other Saluki swimmers who scored points in the meet included:  Stephen Cohen (17 years old) – finished 2^nd in the 50 and 100 breast, 3^rd in the 50 free, 4^th in the 50 fly, 100 free and 200 breast, and 7^th in the 200 free;  Camille Davis (16 years old) – finished 1^st in the 50 back, 3^rd in the 100 and 200 back, 5^th in the 200 free, 7^th in the 100 free, and 8^th in the 100 fly;  Ashlee Kuan (14 years old) – finished 5^th in the 200 back, 6^th in the 100 back, and 7^th in the 100 breast;  Austyn Sigler (16 years old) – finished 3^rd in the 200 breast, 4^th in the 50 breast, and 5^th 100 breast;  Emily Stroud (14 years old) – finished 5^th in the 50 free, 7^th in the 50 and 100 back, and 8^th in the 200 free.  In all Saluki Swimmers achieved 6 B, 14 BB, 11 A, 7 AA, 1 AAA, 19 Ozark qualifying times, and 1 Sectional qualifying time.

Saluki Swimmer Compete Against Strong Competition in the CSP Summer Invitational         June, 2010

            Eight Saluki Swim Club swimmers competed in the 82^nd Annual CSP Summer Invitational in Clayton, MO June 25-27.  In all Saluki swimmers achieved 14 B, 16 BB, 2 A, 9 AA, 11 AAA, 34 Ozark qualifying times, and 2 Sectional qualifying times in the meet.  Saluki swimmers also swam 36 best times in the meet.  Twelve year old Jacob Stone won the high point for the 11-12 boys age group.  Jacob won the 200 IM, 50, 100, and 200 free.  Jacob finished 2^nd in the 400 free and 3^rd in the 50 fly, 50 back, 50 breast and 100 breast.  Other Saluki swimmers who scored points in the meet included:  Stephen Cohen (18 years old) – finished 12^th in the 200 breast and 14^th in the 100 breast;  Kelsie Walker (14 years old) – finished 2^nd in the 200 and 400 free, 3^rd in the 100 free, 5^th in the 400 IM, 6^th in the 200 fly, 8^th in the 50 free, 9^th in the 200 IM, and 11^th in the 100 fly.  Stephen Cohen, Ryan Hall, Ashlee Kuan, Austyn Sigler, Jacob Stone, Kelsie Walker, and Taylor Yucus achieved Ozark qualifying times in the meet.
