Ozark LC Champs meet sign up, worker sign up and Saluki Swim Club Summer 2012 t-shirt order

The meet information for Ozark Long Course Championships is posted on the website under the events page.  The qualifying times to enter the Ozark LC Championships is the BB time standard.  I have heard from several swimmers already about swimming in the meet, if you are qualified and would like to swim in the meet please let me know through the new website.  Even if you have signed up earlier in the summer, please sign up on the new website just for practice :)

Also, we will use the new website to sign up for worker positions.  We are co-hosting the meet with Parkway Swim Club but we will still need approximately 12-14 workers per session (except Saturday morning – all Parkway) and we will need 24-28 people for Sunday night.  Please come and help us run this meet.  While not everyone will swim in the meet due to qualifying times, the entire Saluki Swim Club team will benefit from the money made hosting the meet.  Hosting meets provide significant income for Saluki Swim Club and impact the cost of coaching/facility fees for all swimmers.  Please sign up to work as soon as possible (deadline to sign up is Monday, July 23) so that we know how many workers we are short.   You will receive a separate email regarding how to sign up to work the meet.

            Finally, we are going to order a Saluki Swim Club Summer 2012 team shirt for swimmers and parents.  If you are interested in ordering a shirt, the cost will be $15.  Please email Coach Eileen (ewalker4@yahoo.com)  by Monday, July 16 with your order (please include number of shirts, shirt size, and swimmer’s name).      

            Evaluation night for the Fall session will be Wednesday, July 25 at 6:30 pm at Pulliam Hall Pool.  Email Coach Jay – jamesnewton47@hotmail.com – to reserve your spot in the Evaluation.  Evaluations are required for swimmers who are new to the team or for swimmers who have not swum with the team in over a year. 

Saluki Swim Club takes a break in August.  We will return near the end of August to start the Fall session.  I will mail new registration paperwork to everyone in early August.
